What You'll Be Doing

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage the accounting function across multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial close processes.

Reconciliations & Financial Control

• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies timeously.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal processes.
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records across all entities.

Planning & Business Support

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support financial decision-making through reporting and analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to support operational objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with internal stakeholders across various business units.
• Build strong working relationships in a remote environment.
• Support both operational and strategic finance initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, solutions-driven team culture.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles.

Experience

• Experience within a small to medium-sized audit or accounting firm.
• Exposure to commercial accounting environments will be advantageous.
• Experience working across multiple entities will be highly beneficial.

• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally in Afrikaans.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
