Analytics Engineer

• Design and develop impactful Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations
• Build trusted semantic models and reporting datasets
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, data models, and analytical solutions
• Create and maintain PySpark notebooks within Microsoft Fabric
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable business insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Support data quality, governance, and reporting best practices

• 4+ years' experience in Analytics Engineering
• Advanced Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, Semantic Models, and Dashboard Development
• Degree, diploma, or industry certification in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and modern data platforms
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Python
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience with Delta Lake, DataOps, or CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball)
• Exposure to forecasting, predictive analytics, or machine learning
• Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance industries
