An established organisation is looking for a detail-oriented Ordering Clerk to join its Sales and Administration team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in providing efficient and professional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer purchase orders accurately
  • Capture order information onto the relevant system
  • Monitor stock availability and liaise with internal departments
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery timelines
  • Provide sales support with pricing, availability and order information
  • Perform quality checks on orders before dispatch
  • Prepare invoices, packing slips and other relevant documentation
  • Process customer returns and exchanges
  • Resolve order discrepancies and customer queries
  • Generate reports relating to orders, sales and inventory

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an ordering, sales administration or order processing role
  • Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills
  • Sage Evolution experience advantageous
