Quality Engineer

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer specialising in technical lighting and engineered solutions. Operating within a highly structured production environment, the business is recognised for innovation, quality excellence, and sustainable product development. Their local manufacturing facility plays a key role in supplying reliable, world-class products to infrastructure, commercial, and industrial markets.

The Quality Engineer will support production quality by investigating defects, managing non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. The role includes supplier quality management, customer complaint resolution, process audits, quality reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and supporting manufacturing excellence across the production environment.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BTech, Diploma or Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably lighting, electrical, electronics, cable, switchgear, or related technical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, corrective actions, NCR management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with supplier quality, customer complaints, audits, quality reporting, and production quality support.
• Working knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, Control Plans, and process improvement techniques.
