A well-established supplier of electrical solutions is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team in Mpumalanga. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with experience in the electrical industry and strong exposure to the power generation sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining key customer relationships, and expanding market share within the power station and industrial sectors. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong technical understanding, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with clients.
Education:
- Matric
- Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field advantageous
- Proven experience in external sales within the electrical industry
- Experience dealing with power stations is essential
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, equipment, or solutions
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
- Experience managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships
- Ability to identify customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and sales proposals
- Ability to engage with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and project teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the Mpumalanga region
