Senior RF Antenna Engineer

This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in antenna design, RF electronics, and product development. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of advanced antenna and RF solutions while providing technical leadership across multiple engineering projects.

Working closely with customers, project teams, and manufacturing departments, you will play a critical role in developing high-performance antenna systems and RF products while ensuring engineering excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Education:

• BEng Hons in Electronic Engineering (Essential)
• Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering (Advantageous)
• PhD in Engineering (Advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in antenna and RF design engineering.
• Proven experience designing a broad range of antenna types and associated RF circuits.
• Experience working within the 1 MHz to 9 GHz frequency range.
• Strong antenna measurement and RF electronics experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB.
• Expert-level proficiency in FEKO or similar 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High levels of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Duties:

• Act as the technical lead on engineering projects.
• Take ownership of all technical aspects to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead conceptual antenna design activities.
• Develop, build, and test antenna prototypes.
• Design RF circuits including filters, switches, and amplifiers.
• Produce detailed RF designs and technical documentation.
• Perform testing, qualification, and validation of RF products.
• Prepare technical reports, product specifications, manuals, and test procedures.
• Support technical sales activities and customer interactions.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical training, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
