Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
An established and highly successful South African group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its finance leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment, providing strategic financial oversight, and leading high-performing finance professionals.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of senior finance professionals. Oversee the financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Drive month-end and year-end reporting processes. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure effective financial controls and governance frameworks are maintained. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Support business decision-making through financial analysis and reporting. Liaise with auditors and other key stakeholders. Requirements: Qualified CA(SA) . 5-6 years' post-qualification experience. Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role. Previous people management experience is essential. Strong financial reporting, controls, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Sage Intacct would be advantageous. Exposure to the travel industry is beneficial but not essential.
