Van Driver

Join the dynamic team at Newstaff Employment Services as a Van Driver! We are seeking dependable individuals to ensure our customers receive their goods promptly and safely. As a Van Driver, you will play a critical role in the distribution process, making deliveries across the local area while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate a van to deliver goods to various locations.
• Perform pre-delivery vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Communicate with customers and provide exceptional service at delivery locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local routes, specifically around the Milton Keynes area.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to lift heavy items as part of the loading and unloading process.

Benefits

Shifts

· Monday to Friday (Saturday if busy but the shift does go out to the team)

· Van Driver £13.00 per hour all hours worked

· Flexibility is essential as start times can vary from 4.30am to 6am, finish times are 4.30pm but must be flexible due to traffic
