Their platform is designed to help businesses enhance customer journeys, improve contact center efficiency, and increase customer retention through intelligent automation and real-time insights. Nextiva's solutions are tailored for both small businesses and enterprise-level organizations seeking to consolidate and optimize their technology investments while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Redefine the future of customer experiences. One conversation at a time.

At Nextiva, we’re reimagining how businesses connect, bringing together customer experience and team collaboration on a single, conversation centric platform. Powered by AI, driven by human innovation.

Our culture is forward thinking, customer obsessed and built on the belief that meaningful connections drive better business outcomes. Whether it’s through our signature Amazing Service®, the technology we create, or the experiences we cultivate, connection is at the core of who we are.

If you’re ready to collaborate with incredible people, make an impact, and help businesses everywhere deliver truly amazing experiences, this is where you belong.

Location: This is an onsite role based at Nextiva’s Dallas office (4514 Cole Ave., Dallas, TX 75205). Working together onsite strengthens how we operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.

In-Office Expectation: This role is expected to work onsite four days per week. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.

As Strategic Assistant to our CEO, Nextiva’s Chairman, and Co-Founder, you’ll work at the center of his most important priorities. You’ll create leverage for the CEO by helping him stay prepared and informed, bringing clarity to information, turning direction into action, and making sure the commitments requiring his attention or sponsorship keep moving. This is a high-trust, hands-on role spanning communications, preparation, coordination, decision support, and execution. Your impact will be measured by a simple outcome: The CEO is more effective and his priorities move faster.

This role is well suited to a high-performing Executive Assistant ready to grow into a broader operating role, or an early-career, high-potential operator who wants to work closely with a founder and CEO. You do not need prior experience in a CEO Office; we're more interested in exceptional judgment, communication, learning agility, organization, and follow-through.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create leverage for the CEO: Manage the flow of information, decisions, and follow-through so the CEO can focus his attention where it has the greatest impact.
  • Support executive communications: Help manage his incoming communications and requests, draft responses in his voice, route issues to the right people, and close the loop on important commitments.
  • Keep the CEO prepared and informed: Stay close enough to his priorities and the day-to-day work around them to anticipate what he needs to know. Develop concise briefings, talking points, research, context, and other materials that help him stay ahead of important meetings, conversations, and decisions.
  • Activate the CEO’s priorities: Translate his direction into clear requests and next steps, get them to the right people, track progress, surface gaps, and make sure commitments requiring his attention or sponsorship continue moving.
  • Partner with the Executive Assistant and Strategic Planning: Work closely with the CEOs Executive Assistant, who owns calendar, scheduling, and logistics, and with the Strategic Planning team to help him stay ahead of upcoming priorities. Coordinate around what needs his attention and when, helping create the time, context, and preparation he needs for important decisions, board meetings, planning activities, and other key priorities.
  • Coordinate across Nextiva’s leadership team: Help information and requests move between the CEO and the right leaders. Surface blockers, clarify context, follow up on commitments, and help translate the CEO’s direction when appropriate.
  • Strengthen his decision-making: Synthesize the information relevant to what’s in front of him, frame the issue, identify key considerations, and put a clear path forward on his desk.
  • Support critical external interactions: Prepare him for engagements with customers, partners, advisors, investors, board members, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build AI-first ways of working: Apply AI across research, communications, meeting preparation, knowledge management, and project tracking to improve speed and quality while maintaining human judgment and confidentiality.
  • Drive work on the CEOs priorities: Activate the right people, track status, close gaps, and keep work moving through completion. The focus is on advancing his priorities and agenda rather than building an independently owned portfolio of initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence: Work from Nextiva’s Scottsdale office approximately four days per week, enabling close partnership with the CEO and the leadership team and supporting the fast-moving nature of the role. Some light travel may be required based on business needs.

About You:

  • A clear, thoughtful communicator, particularly in writing. You can take limited or fragmented input, understand the intent behind it, and turn it into useful, concise communication.
  • Strong judgment and instincts. You learn to recognize what matters, what’s sensitive, what you can move forward, and what needs attention.
  • A fast learner who can operate in unfamiliar territory. You don’t need to have done everything before. You learn quickly, ask smart questions, connect the dots, and build context as you go.
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through. You can manage a high volume of information, communications, requests, and commitments without letting important details disappear.
  • A strong sense of ownership. You follow things through, surface risks and gaps, and make sure the right people have what they need to keep work moving.
  • Comfort moving between big-picture context and detailed execution. You’re willing to understand the “why” behind a priority and handle the practical work required to advance it.
  • AI-first, human-led approach to work. You’re curious about emerging technology and actively look for smarter ways to work. You use AI to improve speed, quality, and productivity while applying sound judgment and accountability.
  • High emotional intelligence and low ego. You read situations and people well, build trust across different teams and levels, and understand the responsibility that comes with working closely with the CEO.
  • Exceptional discretion. You understand how to handle sensitive company, employee, customer, financial, legal, and executive information.
  • Comfort with feedback and adaptability. You absorb context and coaching quickly, adjust your approach, and keep moving as priorities change.
  • Organized under real pressure. You can hold many threads at once, adapt when priorities change quickly, and maintain momentum without losing sight of what matters.
