POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the development and delivery of internal and external communications to create a consistent, connected narrative across the organization that supports engagement, recruitment, and strategic execution. This role helps execute communication initiatives, supports intranet content management, and assists with campaigns that strengthen employee engagement across the organization. They will also assist with social media initiatives, brand-aligned content, and marketing campaign support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in developing clear, concise, and engaging communications across multiple channels (email, intranet, newsletters, video, presentations, social media).
  • Help maintain and update intranet content, including routine publishing, page maintenance, and supporting intranet-based campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager to collect information, draft content, and assemble materials for internal and external communications initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications Specialist on social media planning, content creation, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist in the development of digital and print materials, including graphics, presentations, and basic design tasks that align with NFI Group's branding standards.
  • Gathering analytics from intranet and social media channels to help evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Support execution of communication campaigns that align with NFI Group’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure that NFI’s brand standards are utilized across internal and external communications.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with different social media and scheduling platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent self-manager with strong organizational skills that is comfortable working in collaborative fast-paced environment.
