Then you might be interested in our Manufacturing Process Technician position. Here are a few details of the job:
Core Hardware Responsibilities: ICT Test Fixture & Keysight/Agilent 3070 System Maintenance
Test Fixture Change-overs:
- Perform test fixture change-overs on the ICT test systems based on production needs.
Test Fixture Maintenance & Repair:
- Re-wire, repair, and replace worn or bent pogo pins (test probes), sockets, and personality pins within bed-of-nails fixtures.
- Troubleshoot fixture electrical path issues (e.g., high-resistance connections, broken wire wraps, floating grounds, or intermittent shorts).
- Repair mechanical actuators, vacuum seal gaskets, hold-down rods, and pneumatic pressure plates to maintain proper physical alignment during actuation.Keysight/Agilent 3070 Tester Hardware Upkeep:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on the 3070 mainframe, including power supply checks, system calibration, air filter cleaning, and cooling fan replacements.
- Diagnose and replace faulty system cards (Control Cards, Pin Cards, Hybrid Cards, ASRU modules, or System Power Supplies) using diagnostic software routines. - Ability to solder/unsolder or touch-up through-hole and SMT components on system cards.
- Clean and inspect interface receiver pins to prevent high-contact resistance or frame damage.
Tester Verification:
- Run periodic diagnostic routines (fixture test, fixture health checks, and self-tests) on the 3070 platform to verify system pin integrity.
Fixture Verification:
- Perform "Golden Board" verifications to ensure fixtures are working correctly.
- Log fixture insertion counts to execute preventive probe replacements before contact degradation affects line yields.
Core Test Software Responsibilities
Test Routine Modifications (BT-Basic):
- Update, edit, and debug test routines written in BT-Basic (testplan, analog functional, digital functional, unpowered analog tests).
- Adjust test limits, delays, and guard ratios to eliminate false failures, marginal passes, or intermittent open/short flags caused by component tolerances.
Program Debugging & Development Support:
- Use BT-Basic debug environments to step through failing test nodes, analyze analog measurement waveforms, and isolate software bugs from actual hardware faults.
- Adjust digital vector timings, drive levels, and receive thresholds for digital IC testing.
Quality Compliance:
- Ensure all software edits pass engineering validation ("Golden Board" run) before releasing the updated test files back to the active production line.
