We are hiring a Senior Manager to take ownership of safeguarding for NIUM's UK regulated entities, covering both emoney and payment services activities under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011, Payment Services Regulations 2017, and the FCA's CASS15 sourcebook. This is a senior, hands-on, first-line role combining regulatory ownership, treasury decision-making, and 4-eyes oversight of operational work across the group.
You will be the day-to-day authority on UK safeguarding compliance; running reconciliation checks, chairing the UK Safeguarding Committee, owning FCA reporting, and acting as the escalation point for safeguarding incidents. You will also make live decisions on UK cash management, diversification, and interest optimisation, working closely with Compliance and the Director of Safeguarding to keep UK processes aligned to group standards while staying compliant with UK-specific regulatory requirements.
This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role in a business operating across 40+ regulated jurisdictions, you will need to be comfortable making sound decisions quickly as rules, products, and volumes evolve.
