We are looking for a Senior BMS Engineer who can take a leading role in BMS projects and act as a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues. As a Senior BMS Engineer, you will work at the intersection of facility automation, IT and regulated production environments. You will be responsible for specification, configuration, testing, documentation and technical guidance across BMS solutions for critical facilities.
Your role: You will join projects and customer assignments where BMS solutions are essential to compliant operations. You will contribute with technical insight, regulatory understanding and a structured approach to delivery. You will work closely with customers, project managers, automation specialists, facility teams, quality teams and vendors to ensure that solutions are robust, documented and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities: Lead and support design, configuration, testing and documentation of BMS solutions Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and system designs Prepare and review technical documentation, test protocols and validation material Participate in commissioning, qualification and handover activities Provide technical guidance to colleagues and customer stakeholders Troubleshoot complex system issues and support operational improvements Ensure that BMS solutions comply with GxP, quality standards and customer procedures Collaborate with automation, IT, facility, quality and vendor teams across project phases Your qualifications: Solid experience from a pharma, life sciences regulated environment is essential Strong understanding of GMP, GxP, validation and change control Experience working with customers, vendors and multidisciplinary project teams Ability to review requirements, assess risks and ensure documented technical delivery Strong communication skills in English A structured mindset with a strong focus on quality, compliance and delivery Required skills and experience: Hands on experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell or similar Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom environments, utilities and facility automation Experience with BMS configuration, testing, commissioning and qualification Understanding of SCADA systems, PLC systems or industrial automation Experience with alarm management, data logging, reporting and environmental monitoring Ability to take technical ownership and guide solutions from clarification to handover Personal qualities: You take ownership and can drive technical tasks from clarification to delivery You communicate clearly with both technical and quality focused stakeholders You understand the importance of documentation in regulated environments You are proactive and able to identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities You enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in complex assignments You balance technical detail with business and compliance requirements Join NNIT: At NNIT, you will become part of a company with strong experience in delivering IT, automation and digital solutions to customers in highly regulated industries.
