Associate Director - Product

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Core experience:

• End-to-end app experience across health, fitness, wellness, engagement, and connected-device features.
• Activation and onboarding in the first 7 days that determine whether a user stays.
• Daily habit loops are the features and nudges that bring someone back at 7am.
• Health intelligence layer: how raw sensor data becomes insight a user can act on: AI/ML-driven personalisation, smarter recommendations, contextual coaching, and adaptive goal setting.

Growth and business:

• Retention architecture streaks, challenges, community, and reward systems that reduce churn.
• Monetisation subscriptions, premium wellness content, and partnership integrations.
• Experimentation culture A/B testing, funnel analysis, rapid iteration, and a bias for shipping.
• Device-app integration: the experience layer that connects what's on the wrist to what's on the phone.
• Cross-functional partnerships with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and the device hardware team.

Requirements:

• 8 or more years in consumer product management, with a clear track record of building and scaling B2C mobile apps.
• Someone who thinks about user emotion as much as user flow. The best features in a health app don't just work; they make you feel something.
• Deep comfort with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase, or similar.
• You should be able to diagnose a retention problem from a funnel before you ask for a dashboard.
• An experimentation mindset: you ship fast, measure honestly, and know the difference between a feature that feels right and one that actually works.
• Strong design partnership instincts: you have UI/UX opinions, you push back on bad patterns, and you elevate the craft in every review.
• The ability to hold vision and execution simultaneously; this is not a strategy role with someone else doing the detail work.
• You'll write the PRD and present the quarterly roadmap in the same week.
• Genuine curiosity about Indian consumers' tier-2 users, first-time health trackers, and people who've never used a fitness app. The product has to work for them, not just for people who already know what a VO2 max is.
