Customer Service Specialist
This position will collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Network Engineering & Nokia product’s team, taking responsibility for the overall review of network designs. Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to oversee the deployment, implementation, acceptance, and post-optimization maintenance of subsea optical transmission networks, ensuring projects are completed with high quality in line with established standards and schedules. The ideal candidate must possess extensive practical experience in transmission networks and submarine cable networks, demonstrate the ability to adapt to transnational and cross-time zone work scenarios, collaborate efficiently in a multicultural and multilingual environment, closely work with Nokia APAC customers and efficient operation of the Nokia APAC Optical network through professional technical expertise.
Work with Project manager and be responsible for the entire implementation and delivery process of SLTE (Submarine Line Terminal Equipment) networks, formulate deployment plans, coordinate resources, control installation quality, solve technical problems during implementation, and ensure timely project delivery and acceptance.
Conduct in-depth research on optical transmission network signal modulation technologies, select appropriate optical carrier’s mode methods according to subsea cable scenarios, analyze the application focus, advantages and disadvantages of various signal modulation, and optimize network transmission performance.
Responsible for the configuration and optimization of transmission network management system, with proficiency in a variety of network management protocols. Capable of leading technical discussions with customers, developing network management solutions, and ensuring the manageability, stability, and efficiency of the network.
Use Python or other scripting languages to independently write automated scripts to realize the automation of network configuration, monitoring, operation and maintenance, improve work efficiency and reduce total workload.
Be responsible for the post-operation and maintenance optimization of subsea networks and optical transmission networks, conduct regular network inspections, troubleshooting, provide technical support, and ensure the long-term stable operation of the network.
Organize project-related technical documents, implementation reports, acceptance materials, etc., standardize document management, and form reusable technical experience and standard processes.
Undertake long-term and short-term transnational business trips, flexibly adapt to cross-time zone work and night work arrangements according to project progress needs, and ensure the smooth progress of projects worldwide.
- 10 years or more of relevant work experience in Optical transmission network design, implementation and delivery, with complete experience in the full lifecycle management and control of transmission network projects and be familiar with the entire process of project from design, deployment to acceptance.
- Possesses 5 years or more of experience in SLTE network design and implementation, have an in-depth understanding of the deployment process, construction specifications of SLTE networks and the difficulties of network deployment compare with Terrestrial network, and candidates with practical submarine Wet plant cable project landing experience are preferred.
- Extensive practical experience in transmission networks and submarine cable networks.
- Ability to adapt to transnational work scenarios and cross-time zone collaborations.
