Operations Specialist, MW Business Unit

This role supports the operational efficiency of the MW Business Unit by managing purchase processes, tracking budgets, and assisting with project and program oversight.

• Triggering and Following Purchase Processes:
  • Initiate Purchase Requests using various tools (e.g., iBuy, SRM).
  • Monitor and follow up on Purchase Orders generated from requests.
  • Track deliveries and ensure proper goods reception.
  • Accurately register purchase and delivery data into the MW dataverse.
  • Manage relationships and interactions with suppliers.
• Budget Tracking:
  • Provide support to tribes for material and subcontractor cost planning.
  • Plan and monitor investment expenditures.
• Project/Program Tracking:
  • Assist Technical Project Managers (TPM) and Project Managers (PM) with cost and effort tracking activities.
  • Monitor the progress and financial aspects of Grants and Funded projects.

• Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of budget tracking principles and project management methodologies.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Familiarity and smart usage of collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Language: Fluent in English, enabling effective communication with international teams.
