Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development / DevOps / GitOps
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Strong on-premises infrastructure experience
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, shell scripting, PowerShell, Java
- Must have knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
- Self-motivated with strong initiative to resolve issues
Preferred Skills
- Professional in one of the operating system (Linux/Windows)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform)
- Middleware/BI platform experience (Solace, IBM MQ, PowerBI)
- Monitoring and observability tools
- Microservices architecture experience / Containerization technologies (Docker)
- Security best practices and compliance sense
- Experience working in scalable Software Development Life Cycle environments
- Cloud certifications
