Customer Service Representative

We are growing and seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to provide status updates on orders and shipments.
• Track shipments on various platforms (internal system, carrier websites) and resolve issues by coordinating with related departments.
• Provide detailed product information, assist with order entry platforms, and guide customers through specification troubleshooting.
• Assist with entering and researching Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) requests.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the Norman shipping teams and/or shipping companies to resolve shipment-related inquiries.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including overseas team, to gather information and address customer concerns effectively.
• Enter order notes in our system and escalate issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
• Closely follow documented Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines to complete daily assigned tasks.
• Provide Front Desk back up as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and customer data.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with phone systems is a plus.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing customer concerns.
• Adaptable to changing business needs and able to multitask.
• Must be a self-starter who actively seeks knowledge, takes initiative, and can learn new processes independently without requiring constant direction.
