Headquartered in Basel and listed in Zurich and New York, it is among the largest research spenders in the industry.

Essential Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams including experienced managers, of establishing standards that a large organization actually adopts, and of engaging credibly with executive leadership - including holding a defensible point of view under challenge from senior finance and business stakeholders.

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in enterprise analytics, business performance, resource allocation, strategic finance, or management consulting within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of people management experience, including leading experienced managers and building senior talent
  • Demonstrated experience establishing enterprise standards, methodologies, or reporting ecosystems adopted across a large, matrixed organization
  • Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at executive level, including addressing complex business challenges and shaping organizational strategy
  • Experience partnering directly with Finance leadership on performance, investment, budget, or headcount matters
  • Working knowledge of investment optimization and marketing mix methodologies sufficient to challenge assumptions and interpret results critically
  • Experience managing relationships with senior leadership and external partners, and driving complex cross-functional initiatives to completion

  • Management consulting experience at a top-tier firm, or comparable internal strategy leadership experience; Working knowledge of the US pharmaceutical commercial model and its data and analytics ecosystem
  • Experience leading multiple distinct capability areas under a single leadership remit; Experience with executive reporting to a country or regional leadership team
  • Experience operating through a large-scale organizational transformation or operating model redesign; Experience building and leading capability through offshore analytics hubs
  • Familiarity with GenAI and AI-enabled approaches to reporting, investment analysis, and process modernization
