Hvad støtter vi?. Vi støtter en bred vifte af projekter og initiativer, der gavner menneskers liv, samfundet og planeten. Vi har tre fokusområder.

Are you a Bachelor's or Master's student enrolled at a university in Denmark, with an interest in global partnerships, project excellence and strategic communication? The Core Partnerships team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation is looking for a motivated intern to undertake a full-time internship during the spring semester of 2027 (up to five months). This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mapping decision-making processes, developing practical partnership tools and preparing materials for leadership audiences at one of the world's largest philanthropic organisations.

The position

The Global Partnerships and Events department is situated within the People, Portfolio and Partnerships Area of the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The Core Partnerships team develops and manages high-impact partnerships that support the Foundation's strategic ambitions.

As an intern, you will support a defined project focused on strengthening how co-funding partnerships are developed, approved and communicated. You will work under the supervision of Robert W. Morton, Senior Manager, and collaborate with the broader Global Partnerships team and relevant colleagues across the Foundation. The project will combine process mapping, practical toolkit development and clear communication for leadership audiences.

Your specific tasks and responsibilities will be scoped according to your background, capabilities, and interests but will include the following:

  • Map internal decision-making and approval processes for strategic co-funding partnerships, aligned with our strategy and suitable for use across different partnership models.
  • Draft a co-funding partnership playbook, including a leadership briefing toolkit of templates and checklists for relevant governance and leadership forums, drawing on examples and lessons from existing partnership work.
  • Deliver a presentation for the Global Partnerships team summarising the process map and toolkit, including how to use them.
  • Ensure the playbook is high quality and usable beyond the internship, incorporating feedback from the Global Partnerships team and the Global Partnerships and Events Director.

The working hours will be 37 hours a week, with flexibility in relation to your other obligations as a student.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with some or all of these qualities:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme at a Danish university within a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and process-mapping skills, with an interest in organisational decision-making, governance and partnerships
  • Experience conducting desk research, synthesising examples and lessons, and translating complex information into practical guidance
  • Strong written and visual communication skills, including experience producing concise briefing materials, presentations, templates or checklists for different audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and confidence using artificial intelligence tools such as Copilot
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken. Danish language skills are not a requirement

Personal Qualifications

What we are looking for in an intern:

  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a drive to learn fast and act on feedback throughout the assignment
  • A structured process thinker, willing to take on a variety of tasks
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment with a curious and open mindset
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently drive processes forward

What We Offer

  • A four- to five-month, hands-on internship in the Global Partnerships team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation
  • Ownership of a defined project with practical deliverables designed for continued use beyond the internship
  • A unique opportunity to gain insight into strategic co-funding partnerships, internal decision-making and leadership engagement at a leading global philanthropic foundation
  • A collaborative working environment where you will receive guidance and sparring from experienced colleagues
  • Exposure to cross-cutting collaboration with colleagues across the Foundation and engagement with external partners where relevant
  • The opportunity to build a professional network and participate in relevant internal and external meetings, seminars and knowledge-sharing activities across the Foundation

Application and Information

To apply, please submit a one-page CV and a brief cover letter clearly outlining your motivation and relevant experience.

The application deadline is 9 October 2026, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The internship is a full-time, on-site position for the spring semester of 2027, with a start date of 1 February 2027. Please specify your preferred duration of the internship. The role is based at the Novo Nordisk Foundation headquarters in Tuborg Havn, Hellerup.
