Join our FBB Dairy-Cheese business in Algeria as an Account Manager, where you will combine your technical expertise in cheese applications and dairy technology with strong commercial and customer relationship management skills. Reporting to Mariam Ibrahim Haydar, Head of Dairy Sales, you will help grow our customer portfolio, develop new business opportunities and deliver ingredient and application solutions that create value for our customers and our business.
The role & your impact
As Account Manager, you will be an individual contributor supporting cheese manufacturers through a combination of technical expertise and commercial partnership. You will work closely with customers throughout product development, from understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to conducting application trials, troubleshooting challenges and optimizing product performance.
Your focus will be on delivering solutions that meet customer requirements for quality, cost and production performance while building strong, long-term customer relationships and supporting sustainable sales growth.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Develop and manage a portfolio of customers within the Dairy-Cheese business.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored ingredient and cheese application solutions.
- Support customers throughout the product development process.
- Plan and conduct application trials in collaboration with customers and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot technical and application challenges.
- Optimize product and application performance to meet customer requirements for quality, cost and production efficiency.
- Combine technical understanding with commercial insight to create value for customers and the business.
What you'll need to be successful in this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology.
- 4 to 12 years of relevant techno-commercial experience.
- Hands-on expertise in cheese applications and dairy technology.
- Strong commercial and customer relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to translate customer needs and technical challenges into practical application and ingredient solutions.
- Experience supporting application trials, product development and technical troubleshooting.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Working conditions
This role is based in Algeria and follows an office-first hybrid working model.
The position involves travel to support customers, develop business opportunities and collaborate on customer applications and trials.
