Applications L2/L3 Support & Maintenance Engineer - Informatica MDM

The role requires working from the designated ODCs in Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad and adhering to the assigned 24x7 shift roster.

We are seeking an experienced Applications L2/L3 Support & Maintenance Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) to provide production support, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and small enhancements for enterprise master data platforms.

The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, integrity, and performance of Informatica MDM solutions supporting critical business processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, data quality, data integration, relational databases, and support operations in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support (L2/L3)

• Provide L2/L3 support for Informatica MDM applications in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor application health, data processing jobs, workflows, and interfaces.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within SLA commitments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to match/merge processes, data quality rules, workflows, APIs, and integrations.
• Support business users in resolving master data-related issues.

Application Maintenance

• Perform regular health checks and proactive monitoring of Informatica MDM environments.
• Support application upgrades, patches, and release deployments.
• Manage configuration changes and promote code across environments.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across master data domains.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities.
• Maintain system documentation, support runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Small Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze and implement minor enhancement requests and configuration changes.
• Modify business rules, workflows, match rules, validation rules, and hierarchy management configurations.
• Support performance tuning and optimization initiatives.
• Automate repetitive operational activities wherever possible.
• Collaborate with development teams for defect fixes and enhancements.

Incident, Problem & Change Management

• Handle incidents, problems, and changes through ITSM processes.
• Participate in major incident bridges and resolution activities.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, middleware, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with change management and release management processes.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support & Maintenance.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM implementations and support.
• Experience supporting production environments with strict SLA commitments.
• Strong knowledge of Master Data Management concepts, data governance, and data quality processes.
• Experience performing RCA, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or financial services domain experience preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
