Your day at NTT DATA
We are looking for a Senior AI Customer Engineer to help enterprise customers successfully deploy, integrate, and optimize AI-powered solutions at scale. In this role, you will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and cloud platforms to troubleshoot complex technical issues, drive successful AI adoption, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Enterprise Platform Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to enterprise integrations and third-party platforms, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
- Support customers in designing, deploying, and operating Agentic AI solutions and AI-driven workflows.
- Investigate and resolve issues across AI/ML services, APIs, authentication layers, networking components, and cloud platforms.
- Analyze model behavior, data quality, schema validation, and ML lifecycle processes to identify and address performance challenges.
- Advise customers on AI cost optimization strategies, including compute, storage, training, and inference efficiency.
- Apply security, privacy, and governance best practices to ensure compliance and responsible AI adoption.
Security, Identity & Networking
- Troubleshoot and support enterprise identity and access management solutions, including: OAuth 2.0 SAML / OIDC SCIM RBAC Identity Federation Permission Mapping
- Diagnose connectivity and infrastructure issues across cloud environments, including: VPC/VNet DNS Firewalls VPNs Load Balancers Private Endpoints
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Manage and troubleshoot solutions running on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Support AI/ML services such as Azure AI, Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, or similar platforms.
- Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments to maintain reliable, production-grade systems.
- Leverage monitoring and observability tools to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues.
Data & Automation
- Build, maintain, or troubleshoot ETL pipelines, data platforms, and AI/ML orchestration workflows.
- Support automation initiatives that improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Technical Support, AI Solutions, Customer Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts and frameworks, including: Model Context Protocol (MCP) Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication Tool Calling Workflow Orchestration AI Agent Architectures
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, enterprise SaaS platforms, APIs, networking, and identity management.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle processes and production support best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience
- Background as a Customer Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers and mission-critical production environments.
- Exposure to Generative AI, AI Agents, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
