Associate - Packaging Design

You should apply if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma, with hands-on experience in packaging and graphic design.
• A good understanding of packaging layouts, typography, colour systems, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience working with packaging dielines, print-ready artwork, and production specifications.
• The ability to adapt existing packaging design systems across new products, flavours, variants, and pack sizes.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain consistency across multiple SKUs.
• Basic understanding of product photography, image manipulation, and e-commerce product listing creatives.
• The ability to manage multiple design requests, incorporate feedback, and deliver within timelines.
• An interest in health, fitness, nutrition, and consumer brands.

• Are only interested in conceptual branding and do not enjoy execution-focused design work.
• Struggle with repetitive adaptations, artwork corrections, or detailed production requirements.
• Are not comfortable working within established brand guidelines and packaging systems.
• Lack attention to detail when it comes to typography, alignment, product information, or print specifications.
• Are unfamiliar with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma.
• Are not comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams or managing multiple deadlines.

Skills Required:

• Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma.
• Packaging artwork development and adaptation.
• Understanding of dielines, CMYK, bleed, margins, and print production requirements.
• Typography, layout, colour consistency, and brand guideline implementation.
• Product image editing, retouching, and mockup creation.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce PDP design and visual merchandising.
• Strong file management, artwork version control, and quality assurance.
• Ability to work with existing design systems and maintain consistency across SKUs.

What will you do?

• Packaging NPD Execution: Develop packaging designs for new products, flavours, variants, and sizes using Nutrabay's existing packaging design systems.
• Packaging Adaptations: Handle routine packaging changes, including ingredient updates, nutritional information, claims, regulatory text, and visual corrections based on approved inputs.
• Artwork Production: Prepare accurate, print-ready packaging artwork, ensuring correct dielines, dimensions, colours, and production specifications.
• PDP Design Updates: Execute product detail page updates, including product imagery, feature callouts, ingredient visuals, and other design modifications.
• Design System Consistency: Ensure all packaging and product-related creatives follow established brand guidelines and design systems.
• Mockups & Visualisation: Create packaging mockups and product renders for internal reviews, e-commerce listings, and marketing requirements.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with the Packaging Design Lead, NPD, Product, Purchase, and Marketing teams to execute packaging requirements.
• Quality Control: Review artwork for alignment, typography, product information, visual consistency, and production accuracy before final submission.
• Asset Management: Maintain organised source files, packaging versions, and final production artwork for easy access and future adaptations.

Work Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in packaging design, graphic design, or artwork production.
• Prior experience with D2C, FMCG, food, nutrition, or consumer product brands is preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating packaging design, artwork adaptations, and production-ready execution is required.
