NV5 Geospatial (NV5G) is hiring Geospatial Front End Developers to support national security client sites. The developers will build and maintain location-aware visualization software and front-end services, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end services and APIs
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Maintain production systems and resolve issues as required

Skills

  • US citizenship with Active or Current (within two years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM-related field
  • 2+ years of experience with web design and web front end development
  • Proven web design/development experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Experience with front-end development libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue, etc
  • Background building high availability and high scalability solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and proven good judgement
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent organization, analytical, and time management skills
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM-related field
  • Esri certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practice and secure development pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
