Operations Manager

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Lead daily operations within the value stream, ensuring production commitments are met while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Improve manufacturing performance through optimized processes, systems, tooling, and equipment. Lead and participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to production teams, ensuring the resources, training, and support needed to achieve operational goals.
• Cultivate a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement where team members are empowered to solve problems and contribute innovative ideas.
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement effective recovery plans and corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to production capacity, equipment, tooling, staffing, and workflows to support business growth and customer demand.
• Manage departmental operating and capital budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with business objectives.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations leadership preferred, with 3+ years leading Supervisors.
• Consistent record of leading teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data driven mentality.
• Strong ability to influence change management and drive organizational consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor supervisory staff, building bench strength and developing future leaders.
• Experience scaling production output to meet growing business demands while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
