What YOU WILLEXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

• Facilitate problem solving activities for freight receiving,distributionand warehousing processes.

• Perform process validations, freight audits, in-process inspections, and monitorthe quality of manufacturing/distribution processes and products.

• Provide support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities.

• Perform containment activities preventing potential or additionalquality defects.

• Provide formal documented KPIreports suitable for customer or internal use as required.

• Determine and use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.

• Develop and maintain KPI charts for monitoring / improving performance.

• Perform product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition.

• Support metric tracking and data entry for internal databases

• Lead and/or assist in the calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.

• Assist with training personnel to adhere to quality standards.

You have:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• 1 year experience in the quality processand experience with Quality Management Systemspreferred.

• Experience and understanding of charting and process control methods preferred.

• Skill in identifyingroot causes of routine problems/issues and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution.

• Ability to effectively organize, plan workloadand work in a self-directed manner.

• Ability to utilizegood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface withpeople across multiple functional areas within the company.

• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System / ISO procedures and documentation.

• Skills in attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to apply appropriate mathand geometry.

• Skill in using personal computers including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Ability to lift upto 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand and walk frequently.
