NVIDIA is looking for a passionate software engineer to join our DGX Cloud Engineering team as a Pre Production Engineer. In this role, you will play a significant part in helping to craft and guide the future of AI & GPUs in the Cloud. DSX OS is Open-source, modular software for building, operating, and scaling multi-tenant AI factory infrastructure with efficiency, performance, and reliability. You will ensure our pre-production labs and development environments for DSX OS are healthy, reliable, and ready for rapid iteration. You will engage hands-on with ground breaking, unreleased hardware and software alongside the engineers building them! What you'll be doing:

• Own NVIDIA’s pre-production DSX OS environments - multi-rack clusters spanning multiple GPU platforms - so software developers stay focused on features, not infrastructure debugging.

• Drive day-1 and day-2 lifecycle operations including software upgrades, firmware rollouts, and environment bring-ups.

• Serve as first-level triage for critical from software developers, performing root cause and corrective action (RCCA) analysis and routing issues to the right owners.

• Collaborate closely with Network engineers, Production engineers, and DSX OS software component owners to identify and close gaps in the stack.

• Partner with QA, Bring-Up, and software development teams to reduce environment-related friction and accelerate the DSX OS development cadence.

What we need to see:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• Demonstrate understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, and security.

• Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Ansible and Terraform.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience automating and operating infrastructure built for AI.

• Background with DPUs.
