Senior Manager, Engineering Vendor Management

NVIDIA's New Product Introduction (NPI) team is growing, and we're looking for a highly motivated and diligent Manager for the Engineering Vendor Manager to join us. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for the engineering management of our most strategic and technologically advanced suppliers, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of components for our groundbreaking products. This is a high-visibility role requiring both tactical execution and strategic thinking in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead a team of engineers as part of the EVM team for assigned component categories: PCBs, liquid cooling systems, high-speed connectors, and optical components for switches
• Drive component readiness and maturity against program timelines and project gates
• Build and manage supplier capability roadmaps aligned with NPI standards and qualification milestones
• Prepare suppliers for automation ramp - both for capacity scaling and quality assurance
• Develop suppliers toward NVIDIA’s NPI standards, including process audits, yield targets, and reliability requirements
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align component status with program schedules
• Monitor and manage component risk; escalate proactively and drive mitigation plans
• Manage detailed work across multiple concurrent programs in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of overall experience including 8+ years of management experience in hardware engineering, NPI, Process management, or supply chain
• Strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture across programs, suppliers, and organizational priorities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple stakeholders and organizational levels - both internally (engineering, operations, supply chain, finance) and externally (suppliers, contract manufacturers)
• Experience driving supplier development through NPI processes and quality systems
• Cross-functional communication skills - ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from factory floor and supplier operations to senior leadership, and across multiple interfaces including engineering, program management, supply chain, and quality
• Resilience and effectiveness under high workload and ambiguity in a dynamic environment
• Deep process understanding with the ability to manage at the detail level

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. high-speed PCBs, Liquid Cooling Systems,Electro-mechanical, high Speed IO, etc.)
• Familiarity with NPI processes in a fast-paced technology company
• Proven track record of management technological teams with operational orientation
