NVIDIA is an American technology company founded in 1993 that invented the graphics processing unit and has become the dominant supplier of accelerated computing platforms for artificial intelligence. Its portfolio spans data centre GPUs and systems built on the Hopper and Blackwell architectures, GeForce consumer graphics, automotive and robotics platforms, high-speed networking acquired with Mellanox, and the CUDA software stack that binds the ecosystem together. Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, the company sells to cloud providers, enterprises, research institutions and gamers worldwide and is one of the most valuable listed businesses on the Nasdaq.

NVIDIA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our SQE team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of NVIDIA boards and networking switch products. As a Senior SQE, you will have the opportunity to work closely with NVIDIA's suppliers and manufacturing partners to develop and implement outstanding quality programs for PCBAs, system boards, and networking switches. Your primary responsibility will be to represent NVIDIA's supplier quality interests, collaborating with internal engineering and operations teams to improve product quality, reliability, manufacturing performance, and supplier execution.

You will work closely with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, product quality engineering, operations, and commodity management to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting supplier quality performance and driving corrective and preventive actions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible to lead end-to-end supplier quality activities for PCBAs, system boards, and networking switch products.

  • Drive supplier quality activities throughout the product lifecycle, including supplier readiness, NPI, qualification, production ramp, and sustaining phases.

  • Collaborate with engineering organizations to investigate and resolve board- and system-level failures, including electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and component-related issues.

  • Lead failure investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.

  • Lead supplier and manufacturing process audits to ensure compliance with NVIDIA quality requirements and industry standards.

  • Monitor supplier quality performance using quality metrics and statistical methods, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous quality improvement programs.

  • Work with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, increase yield, reduce defects, strengthen process controls, and improve overall product quality.

What we need to see:

  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or the electronics industry.

  • Professional knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, reflow, soldering, inspection, and board assembly.

  • Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing, component quality, workmanship requirements, and process controls.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, including qualification, reliability testing, and failure analysis.

  • Familiarity with board- and component-level failure analysis techniques, including X-ray, cross-sectioning, D&P, thermal analysis, and electrical fault isolation.

  • Supplier quality management experience and knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and SPC.

  • Experience leading supplier corrective actions and root-cause investigations for manufacturing and field-quality issues.

  • Ability to analyze quality and manufacturing data, identify trends, and drive improvement actions.

  • Self-motivated, dedicated, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with networking switches, servers, or DataCenter hardware products.

  • Knowledge of high-speed networking technologies, including Ethernet, switch ASICs, optical modules, and high-speed connectors.

  • Experience working with CMs, ODMs, PCB suppliers, and electronic component suppliers.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and quality practices such as IPC-A-610, JEDEC standards, AQL sampling, and other relevant quality and reliability requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional supplier quality initiatives and drive sustainable improvements.
