We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic AI Software developer. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic semiconductor environment, supporting and maintaining critical software systems.
We expect:
- Experiencewith Python (and writing production software in Python). Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
- Nice-to-have JavaScript/TypeScript/React experience or minor-scale GUI/UI/UX development.
- Academical background or experience with neural networksor machine learning algorithms.
- Nice-to-have experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorchor with compiler technologies.
- Passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, smart devices, agentic systemsor similar.
- Curious andinnovative thinking.Responsibility for meeting goals anddeadlines.

Job summary:
- Develop tools, libraries and algorithmsin Python for optimizingneural network modelsforembedded and mobile devices.
- Develop tools in Python to deploy, profile, benchmark neural network models on embedded and mobile devices
- Contribute to opensource(e. g., PyTorch, ONNX, TensorFlow or other popular opensource communities).
- Enable audio, vision, generative AI and/orlanguage modelsonmobile and embedded devices.
- Explorelatest researchand technologies.Implement proof-of-concepts or invent something of your own, and pursue a paper or a patent. Present your work on World's leading software conferences.
- Co-develophardware/softwareof state-of-the-art artificial intelligenceaccelerators.
AI Software R&D Team:
- A well-established teamworking together for 5+ years responsible for a complete SW portfolio of artificial intelligenceproducts, ranging from runtime libraries to an SDK featuring optimization algorithms, andneuralnetworkdeploymenttooling.
- Responsible fordesign and developmentof AI-related SW products across PC, mobile and embedded platforms.
- Contributionsto research, innovation, patents and opensourcesoftware.
- Distributed across multiple countries- US, Romania, China, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Canada, Mexico, Czech Republic and cooperating with other international teams. Communication in English.
- The Czech team is based in Brno and currently has 10 team membersranging from juniors/interns to experienced senior/principaldevelopers.
- The team is part of the AI Software R&D department being at the heart of research and software development of NXP
What can you expect?
Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract.
Compensation: Besides attractive and market salary, you will be eligible for our bonus plan and receive lunch vouchers, additional vacation days, sick days, and possibility to buy company shares with a 15 % discount.
