Nous recrutons un stagiaire de fin d’étude sur une durée de 6 mois pour rejoindre l’équipe Implémentation Physique Digitale en charge de l’implémentation physique de SoC en 16nm.

L’augmentation de la complexité des systèmes sur puce (SoC) nécessite le développement de nouvelles approches permettant d'améliorer l'efficacité des flots de conception, la productivité des ingénieurs et la qualité des résultats obtenus.

L’émergence des technologies d’Intelligence Artificielle ouvre de nouvelles perspectives pour automatiser certaines tâches, faciliter l’analyse des données de conception et accélérer la résolution des problématiques rencontrées au cours du développement.

Vos missions

L’objectif du stage sera d’étudier et d’évaluer l’apport des technologies d’IA dans les activités de conception et d’implémentation physique de circuits intégrés numériques.

Le stagiaire participera à l’identification de cas d’usage pertinents et à l’évaluation des gains potentiels sur des cas réels issus des projets de l’équipe.

Selon le profil du candidat et les priorités de l’équipe, le stage pourra porter sur les domaines suivants :

  • Développement d’outils d’assistance à la conception basés sur l’IA.

  • Exploitation de modèles d’IA générative pour la productivité des ingénieurs.

  • Analyse et exploitation de données issues des outils EDA.

  • Automatisation de tâches d’implémentation et de vérification.

  • Développement d’assistants intelligents intégrant des bases documentaires techniques.

  • Exploration de techniques de Machine Learning appliquées aux problématiques de conception de SoC.

Le périmètre exact du sujet sera défini au démarrage du stage en fonction des besoins des projets en cours et des centres d’intérêt du candidat.

Votre profil

  • Niveau d’études : Dernière année d’école d’ingénieur en micro-électronique / conception de circuits intégrés.

  • Intérêt pour les technologies d’IA et les systèmes numériques complexes.

  • Un bon niveau d’anglais est exigé.

Context

We are seeking a final-year engineering student for a six-month internship with the Digital Physical Implementation team, which is responsible for the physical implementation of 16 nm SoCs.

As systems-on-chip (SoCs) become increasingly complex, new approaches are needed to improve design-flow efficiency, engineering productivity, and the quality of results.

The emergence of artificial intelligence technologies creates new opportunities to automate tasks, simplify design-data analysis, and accelerate the resolution of issues encountered during development.

Your Responsibilities

During this internship, you will explore and assess how AI technologies can support the design and physical implementation of digital integrated circuits.

You will help identify relevant use cases and evaluate their potential benefits for the team’s projects.

Depending on the candidate’s profile and the team’s priorities, the internship may cover areas such as:

  • Development of AI-based design-assistance tools.

  • Use of generative AI models to improve engineering productivity.

  • Analysis and use of data generated by EDA tools.

  • Automation of implementation and verification tasks.

  • Development of intelligent assistants integrating technical knowledge bases.

  • Exploration of Machine Learning techniques applied to SoC design challenges.

The exact scope of the internship will be defined based on the needs of ongoing projects and the candidate’s interests.

Your Profile

  • Education: Currently completing the final year of a Master’s-level engineering degree in microelectronics or integrated circuit design.

  • Interest in AI technologies and complex digital systems.

  • A good level of written and spoken English is required.
