Cybersecurity Engineer III

Nykaa is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its cloud and infrastructure security. The role involves designing secure cloud architectures, building security solutions, automating security workflows, and leveraging AI/ML for threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security solutions including firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS and perimeter defences.
• Build and manage secure architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Integrate security controls into the SDLC, DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive automation across vulnerability management and incident response.
• Implement data encryption, tokenisation, masking, classification and access controls.
• Leverage AI/ML for anomaly detection, threat classification and predictive vulnerability assessment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and drive security initiatives, policies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of overall Cybersecurity/Engineering experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, with strong expertise in Cloud Security, Perimeter Security and Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, IAM, encryption and security groups.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS and network security.
• Experience with AI/ML for cybersecurity, including anomaly detection and threat classification.
• Programming/scripting experience with Python, R, TensorFlow, Keras or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel or equivalent cloud-native security tools.
• Experience in threat intelligence, vulnerability management and incident response.
