Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages professionally while maintaining high standards of guest service, cleanliness, hygiene, stock control, and bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, take beverage orders, and prepare and serve drinks and cocktails according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service and respond to guest requests, preferences, and complaints.
• Promote beverage sales, packages, promotions, and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, counters, equipment, refrigerators, and service areas.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure the bar is properly stocked and ready for service.
• Monitor beverage stock, prepare requisitions, maintain stock records, and participate in inventories.
• Ensure proper handling of beverages, equipment, and materials to minimize waste, breakage, and loss.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately and follow all POS and financial procedures.
• Record breakages, losses, stock movements, and other required information accurately.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, checklists, SOPs, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Ensure all beverage products are prepared according to approved recipes and standards.
• Obtain and use guest feedback to improve service and contribute to guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional grooming, hygiene, punctuality, teamwork, and positive communication.
• Participate in departmental briefings and training.
• Comply with hotel policies, procedures, and applicable employment regulations.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
