Purpose of the Job

Play an important role in protecting Ocorian and its clients by supporting the delivery of high-quality KYC, AML/CFT and client due diligence processes. Working with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, you'll help ensure client records remain accurate, risks are appropriately assessed and regulatory obligations are met. This role offers excellent exposure to compliance, client lifecycle management and financial crime prevention, providing the opportunity to strengthen your analytical, investigative and stakeholder management skills within a global financial services environment. You'll contribute to maintaining the integrity of client data, support risk-based decision-making and help uphold the high standards of governance and compliance that underpin Ocorian's operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Review client files and due diligence documentation to assess completeness, accuracy and compliance with Ocorian's AML/CFT policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform relevant screenings and risk assessments, applying standard, simplified or enhanced due diligence measures as appropriate to the client and jurisdiction.
• Identify gaps or deficiencies in client due diligence records and collaborate with stakeholders to obtain the required information and documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records and data across internal systems, ensuring findings, action points and supporting documentation are properly recorded and updated.
• Liaise with Ocorian offices and clients across multiple jurisdictions to support due diligence reviews, information gathering and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor compliance with jurisdictional regulations and internal procedures, helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to client reviews.
• Support the achievement of quality, productivity and service objectives while contributing to the continuous improvement of file review and data management processes.
• Escalate risks, issues or regulatory concerns where appropriate and provide regular updates to management on review progress and outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Degree completed or in progress in Law, Management, Finance or a related discipline, or a relevant professional qualification such as CGI/ICSA, STEP or equivalent.
• At least 1 year's experience within financial services, compliance, legal, audit or a related regulated environment, with exposure to KYC, AML/CFT or client due diligence processes.
• Sound understanding of corporate structures, beneficial ownership concepts and the practical application of customer due diligence requirements.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficient in using technology and business systems, combined with a proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and a genuine interest in developing a career in compliance and financial crime risk management.
