  • Conceptual design and sizing of thermal control systems, including definition of thermal concepts, hardware requirements, budgets, and identification of critical thermal areas
  • Development, maintenance, and correlation of thermal models, as well as execution, verification, and assessment of thermal analyses at system and subsystem level
  • Planning, preparation, and execution of thermal tests in cooperation with AIT, including test specifications, test setup (including GSE), and evaluation of test results
  • Technical support to systems engineering, product assurance, AIT, and operations (e.g. LEOP, IOT, level 2 support) throughout development, integration, and operations
  • Technical leadership of the thermal subsystem, including technical management of subcontractors and support of project and subcontract management
  • Creation and maintenance of thermal documentation and support of review processes, bids, technical studies, and design change management (RFD/RFW, NCR)
