We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join a dynamic quality assurance team.
The role focuses on comprehensive manual testing of Shopify and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central-based eCommerce systems, including integrations with third-party applications.
The successful candidate will help ensure reliable customer journeys and robust backend operations across a modern Direct-to-Consumer platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute manual test cases for Shopify and Business Central-based eCommerce platforms.
- Test core eCommerce journeys, including product catalog, inventory, shopping cart, checkout, payments, shipping, and order management.
- Validate integrations between Shopify, Business Central, payment gateways, and third-party applications.
- Identify, document, and report defects with clear descriptions, reproducible steps, expected and actual results, and severity levels.
- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing for releases and deployments.
- Validate end-to-end user workflows and business processes across the D2C platform.
- Create and maintain test cases, test data, execution records, and defect documentation.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, and review sessions.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
Mandatory Skills & Experience :
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA principles, software testing life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in manual test case design, execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
- Proven experience testing eCommerce applications and customer workflows such as products, inventory, orders, payments, and shipping.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor of Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Desirable Skills :
- Experience working with the Shopify platform and ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.
- Understanding of API testing concepts and system integrations.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience testing payment gateways and other third-party integrations.
