Quality Supervisor

Onsite | St. Petersburg, Florida

At Omnicell, quality is about more than meeting specifications. It’s about building products people can depend on and delivering outcomes that matter.

We’re looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our Quality Operations team onsite in St. Petersburg, Florida. You’ll lead frontline quality operations and partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Customer Support, and Quality Engineering to ensure our products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, developing people, and turning data into action. You’ll lead a talented quality team, strengthen incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities, drive root cause investigations, and champion improvements that enhance both quality and operational performance.

You’ll also have the opportunity to challenge how things are done today. From introducing new inspection technologies to supporting new product introductions and leading continuous improvement initiatives, you’ll help find a better way forward while building a culture of quality, accountability, and care.

At Omnicell, innovation starts with people, and our culture of care shapes how we support one another and stay focused on improving healthcare. Our employer brand also emphasizes transformational work, hands-on innovation, growth through impact, and careers with purpose and possibility.

If you’re ready to lead from the front, develop a high-performing team, and make a visible impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop Quality team members while assigning daily priorities and supporting strong team performance.
  • Provide guidance on incoming inspection requirements and lead related change management activities.
  • Manage nonconforming material processes, including investigations, evaluation, and disposition.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using methodologies such as fishbone analysis, 8D, CAPA, and design of experiments.
  • Define and improve inspection techniques and evaluate measurement equipment, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled inspection solutions.
  • Lead or participate in quality and continuous improvement projects that support departmental and business objectives.
  • Support the effectiveness and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System.
  • Serve as a change champion by identifying opportunities for improvement and helping teams successfully adopt new processes and ways of working.
  • Act as a key liaison between Quality and cross-functional partners across Omnicell.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during internal and external audits.
  • Support quality activities associated with new products, manufacturing processes, and operational improvements.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing quality, quality assurance, or quality control within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing nonconforming materials, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and other quality investigations.
  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Understanding of AQL levels within applicable ANSI standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with business or quality systems such as SAP, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and detail-oriented projects in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Help You Stand Out

  • ASQ certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits, supplier quality, validation and qualification activities, or statistical analysis.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance urgency with diplomacy, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

How You’ll Lead
