JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Security, Safety, Emergency & Facilities, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide logistics operations, including inventory management, warehouse operations, supply distribution, durable medical equipment (DME) coordination, courier services, and fleet-related support. This position supervises logistics staff and ensures supplies, equipment, and resources are available to support participant care and organizational operations through standardized inventory controls, replenishment processes, and service delivery standards.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees and coordinates enterprise-wide logistics operations across all supply categories, including warehouse receiving and storage, inventory management, internal distribution, delivery routing, durable medical equipment (DME) coordination, courier services, and fleet-related logistics support.
Provides leadership, supervision, and direction to logistics staff; responsible for staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, and recognition activities.
Maintains visibility across all On Lok locations and provides operational support as needed to assess needs, resolve issues, implement solutions, and ensure continuity of logistics services.
Oversees inventory accuracy, replenishment activities, and Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR)level inventory methodologies to ensure appropriate stock levels, reduce stockouts, minimize emergency orders, and optimize inventory utilization.
Monitors logistics performance metrics and implements corrective actions and process improvements to enhance service levels, operational efficiency, and resource stewardship.
Maintains accurate operational records and ensures effective utilization of inventory, distribution, routing, and reporting systems.
Partners with Transportation, Purchasing, Facilities, Clinical Operations, Home Care, Center Operations, and other stakeholders to align logistics services with participant care needs and organizational priorities.
Collaborates with leadership to establish departmental goals, implement quality improvement initiatives, support financial objectives, and promote cost-effective resource utilization.
Develops, implements, and maintains standardized logistics processes, inventory controls, operational procedures, and service standards to improve consistency, compliance, and scalability.
Supports organizational emergency preparedness efforts, including emergency supply readiness, business continuity initiatives, and Incident Command System (ICS) responsibilities as assigned.
Promotes a culture of safety, accountability, customer service, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Participates in organizational initiatives, expansion efforts, special projects, and operational planning activities requiring logistics expertise.
Performs other duties as assigned.
