DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

●     Architect, design, andimplement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS using best practices.

●     Lead the automation ofinfrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools likeTerraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

●     Build and manage CI/CDpipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools likeJenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

●     Monitor, troubleshoot, andoptimize performance and reliability of cloud-based environments.

●     Implement security bestpractices and ensure that cloud environments are compliant with internal andexternal standards.

●     Automate repetitive tasksand processes with scripting in Python, Bash, or other tools.

●     Manage and optimize resourceutilization and cost in AWS environments.

●     Oversee the administrationand management of Linux environments in production and development.

●     Mentor junior team membersand provide guidance on DevOps best practices.

●     Collaborate with developmentand operations teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity.

Qualifications

●     5+ years of hands-onexperience in a DevOps Engineer role, or similar positions.

●     Extensive experience withAWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.)

●     Strong proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

●     Demonstrated expertise inbuilding, managing, and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions,Jenkins).

●     Advanced scripting skills inPython and Bash for automation and tool development.

●     Expertise in Linux systemadministration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).

●     Deep understanding ofnetworking, security practices, and monitoring in cloud environments.

●     Experience withcontainerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

●     Cloud Platforms: AdvancedAWS Cloud expertise (EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.)

●     IaC Tools: Terraform, AWSCDK, CloudFormation

●     CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions,Jenkins

●     Scripting Languages: Python,Bash

●     Containerization: Docker,Kubernetes

●     Operating Systems: Linux(Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)

●     Version Control: Git,GitHub, GitLab

●     Monitoring & Logging:CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

●     Security: AWS Identity andAccess Management (IAM), security groups, VPC, and encryption best practices

Preferred Skills

●     AWS Certifications(Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer).

●     Experience with serverlesstechnologies such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

●     Expertise with configurationmanagement tools

●     Strong understanding ofmicroservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

●     Experience with costoptimization in cloud environments.

●     Familiarity with Agilemethodologies and DevOps principles.

●     Excellent communication andcollaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

●     Ability to lead and mentorjunior DevOps engineers and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
