Ooga Booga is Berachain’s pioneering and native liquidity aggregator, designed to seamlessly and efficiently orchestrate swap executions. Our platform is dedicated to optimizing user journeys on our intuitive frontend while also serving as the preeminent facilitator for swap executions throughout external dApps.

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DeFi Developer with a strong background in backend development to spearhead the development of our protocol. As the Lead DeFi Developer, you will lead a team of developers, guiding them through the design, implementation, and deployment phases of a scalable and secure DeFi protocol and backend infrastructure.

• Lead the end-to-end development of DeFi solutions, ensuring all technical aspects are meticulously addressed.

• Design and implement robust backend infrastructure tailored to support dAPPs.

• Architect and develop smart contracts on an EVM chain.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritize features, ensuring alignment with business logic.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of our DeFi solutions, staying ahead of emerging threats and opportunities.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in web3, DeFi, and backend frameworks, integrating relevant innovations into our platform.

• Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code that meets the evolving needs of our users and regulatory standards.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in blockchain, ideally in a leadership role.

• Extensive expertise in backend development, with proficiency in languages such as Node.js, Go, or Rust.

• Strong grasp of blockchain, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols.

• Proficiency in Solidity and hands-on experience with EVM smart contract development.

• Proven track record in building and deploying DeFi protocols, with a keen understanding of the associated challenges and opportunities.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Solidity and other relevant programming languages used in blockchain development.

• Experience in building and integrating DEXs.

• Previous experience leading and motivating teams of developers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts.

• Demonstrated contributions to open-source blockchain projects, showcasing your commitment to advancing the field.

• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, streamlining our development processes.

• Proven ability to design and build SDKs, enhancing our platform's accessibility and versatility.

• Familiarity with leading cloud computing platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, optimizing our infrastructure for scalability and performance.

• Experience in addressing MEV concerns.

• Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), enabling seamless scalability and manageability.

• Understanding of the latest EIPs relevant to DeFi, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.
