As part of Opera’s Performance Advertising business, your focus would be on identifying, developing and winning new advertisers and commercial relationships. This is a hunter-oriented profile for people who enjoy opening doors, building opportunities from the ground up and owning the sales cycle through negotiation and close. We are particularly interested in professionals with strong networks and experience across performance-driven sectors such as mobile apps, e-commerce, iGaming, FinTech, travel and other digital-first industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
Identify and win net-new advertisers and commercial opportunities, with a clear focus on new-business acquisition.
Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
Develop senior relationships with direct advertisers, agencies and relevant ecosystem partners.
Understand advertisers’ growth objectives and position Opera’s performance advertising capabilities against measurable commercial outcomes.
Work closely with Client Solutions, Ad Operations, Product and other teams to develop opportunities and successfully transition new clients into long-term partnerships.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in new-business sales or business development within digital advertising, AdTech, performance marketing or a closely related environment.
Demonstrated track record of prospecting, developing and closing net-new business.
Strong understanding of performance advertising and the commercial priorities of performance-driven advertisers.
Established relationships across advertisers, agencies or the broader digital advertising ecosystem are highly valued.
Entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach, with strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
