We’re looking for a hands-on Drone Technician with strong experience in assembly, configuration, and maintenance of FPV systems, and a problem-solving mindset for diagnosing complex hardware and software issues. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and real-world deployment of our drone systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Drone Assembly and Configuration
Assemble, build, and customize Orqa drones
Configure flight controller firmware (Betaflight, iNav, ArduPilot, PX4)
Fine-tune drone components including ESCs, motors, propellers, and cameras
Drone Testing
Test drones, systems, and components in real-world and adverse conditions
Evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
Software Management
Troubleshoot firmware and software-related issues across drone platforms
Maintain and manage flight logs and configurations
Drone Repair and Maintenance
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components
Repair damaged drones and replace parts
WHAT WE EXPECT:
2+ years of experience assembling and piloting FPV drones (long-range experience is a plus)
Solid understanding of electronics and RF systems
Soldering skills are required
Proficiency in Betaflight configuration
Experience with INAV, ArduPilot, or PX4 is a plus
Willingness to travel for demos and field testing
