Sales Trainee - Access Equipment

Job Description:

• Complete a rotational program across Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket and Whole goods sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing
• Learn all areas of the JLG sales team
• Work with Inside Sales to enter orders and handle field customer calls
• Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating company activities for the sales team
• Partner with sales team members on customer and regional needs or trends
• Enter customer information and configure machines with sales representatives
• Analyze regional sales and order book entries to support forecasting
• Handle assigned administrative tasks
• Travel 50% to visit and build relationships with customers

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business or a related field
• Ability to travel 50-70%
• Experience in a manufacturing industry
• Ability to work independently and within a team structured environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other web-based software applications
• Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing
• Located close to a major airport
• Must be able to perform office and field or production environment duties, including moderate lifting up to 50 pounds
• Certain positions may require applicants to be U.S. Persons under ITAR or EAR regulations
