Commercial Account Executive

Job Description:

• Cover an assigned geographic territory
• Uncover and manage new selling opportunities
• Add new logos and manage the entire sales process from discovery to close
• Develop relationships with C-level executives across business and IT units for named accounts
• Validate and qualify customers’ technical and business requirements
• Articulate the value proposition and use ROI and TCO tools with business stakeholders
• Negotiate contracts and drive up-selling and cross-selling
• Build customer rapport
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Develop territory sales strategies, target prospect lists, and regional sales plans
• Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
• Work with Global and local System Integrators and Channel partners to promote OutSystems solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of direct and indirect selling experience within the enterprise software space
• 5+ years within the application and application development space, SaaS, PaaS and Cloud offerings
• Strong technical sales background
• Ability to explain business value to executives
• Experience managing complex sales processes
• Experience/success with named account selling model
• Proven track record partnering with Global and Local System Integrators and Channel Partners
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-driven
