Within your #OneTeam
You’ll be at the helm of the Business Logic squad, the backbone that powers the CloudStore platform. Your team’s middleware - backend orchestration, consumption tracking, and user management - is the critical layer that every other CloudStore squad relies on. As we transition from proof-of-concept to production with our first enterprise customers, you’ll guarantee continuity, reliability, and billing-grade accuracy of consumption data, enabling CloudStore to become the sovereign service platform of OPCP.
Your main responsibilities :
- Roadmap delivery - Translate the product roadmap into concrete sprint goals, manage WIP and capacity, and keep progress visible for the whole squad.
- Technical leadership - Own the design and robustness of the middleware. Produce ADRs and Technical Specs, drive architectural decisions, and ensure implementation follows best practices.
- Team management - Lead, mentor, and grow a multicultural squad of 8 engineers (French & German). Foster a “one team” spirit and promote knowledge sharing across the acquisition-derived team.
- Quality & data accuracy - Deliver features on time, within budget, and with the security and auditability required for billing-grade consumption data.
- Cross-team coordination - Align with Platform, Packagers, Experience squads, OPCP Core, and Sovereign Delivery & Operations to guarantee seamless integration.
- Risk management & prioritisation - Identify, analyse, and communicate risks; propose mitigation options; balance planned and unplanned work to keep the roadmap on track.
Your future impact
In 6 months
- The squad will be fully operational under your guidance, delivering the first set of production-ready middleware components.
- Consumption data pipelines will achieve billing-grade accuracy and be auditable, satisfying early enterprise customers.
- A clear, visible workflow for WIP and capacity will be established, improving predictability across the team.
And in 1 year
- CloudStore’s middleware will be recognised as a stable, secure foundation for all downstream squads, supporting multiple enterprise onboardings.
- The squad will have matured into a high-performing, self-organising unit with a strong “one team” culture and low turnover.
- Continuous improvement loops (ADR reviews, security post-mortems, observability enhancements) will be embedded, keeping the platform resilient and compliant with OPCP security standards.
Skills required:
- Software architecture & system design (backend orchestration, event-driven processing)
- Python (object-oriented programming)
- PostgreSQL
- Kubernetes & CI/CD pipelines
- Software lifecycle management, including air-gapped environments
- Identity & access management in multi-tenant systems
- Observability (metrics, tracing, logging)
- IaaS fundamentals
- Agile delivery management (WIP, capacity, prioritisation)
Security expertise
- Secure-by-design development, threat modelling, OWASP Top 10
- OIDC/OAuth2, RBAC, least-privilege, tenant isolation
- Secrets & credential management, confidentiality, integrity, availability
- GDPR compliance, auditability of billing-relevant consumption data
- Supply-chain security (dependency scanning, SBOM, artifact integrity)
- Kubernetes security (network policies, workload isolation, secure configuration)
- Incident handling (audit logging, anomaly detection, escalation)
- Operational security (secure remote work, device & access protection)
That's a plus :
- Experience with sovereign cloud initiatives or regulated environments
- Prior leadership of multicultural, acquisition-integrated teams
- Hands-on experience with air-gapped CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with OPCP internal tooling or OVHcloud ecosystem
- Certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSK, CISSP) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKS)
