Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout the facility. This position helps ensure resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility
- Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public areas
- Wipe down handrails, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, wall surfaces, and dispensers
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Follow infection control procedures and facility safety guidelines
- Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies
- Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized
- Place caution signs when appropriate and safely store cleaning chemicals
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
- Report resident safety concerns immediately to the appropriate supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or long-term care settings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
