This role will work closely with business, compliance, data, technology, model validation, and external vendor teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into effective system enhancements, improve alert quality, validate data and screening outcomes, and strengthen financial crime risk management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

- Support rule configuration, parameter adjustments, threshold optimization, and testing of platform enhancements.
3. Sanctions Screening Vendor Feed Integration

- Assess vendor feed formats, data structures, field mappings, and ingestion requirements.
- Validate watchlist data loading, field-level mapping, data completeness, screening coverage, matching logic, and alert generation.
- Coordinate integration testing and UAT to ensure accurate processing of vendor data and expected screening outcomes.
- Investigate feed-related issues and work with vendors and technology teams to resolve data and functional discrepancies.
4. Historical Lookback and Transaction Monitoring
- Support historical transaction lookback initiatives, including scope definition, data assessment, lookback criteria, and scenario execution.
- Analyze lookback results, reconcile transaction populations, investigate discrepancies, and document findings.
- Assess transaction monitoring scenarios and identify opportunities to improve coverage and detection effectiveness.

- Analyze false-positive and false-negative trends, alert volumes, and scenario performance.
- Evaluate existing OOTB and custom Actimize rules against business requirements, risk assessments, and regulatory expectations.
- Recommend rule enhancements, parameter changes, and new scenarios to improve alert quality and risk coverage.
- Collaborate with model risk management and independent validation teams to address findings and validate remediation outcomes.
6. New Data Source Onboarding and Data Quality
- Gather business, functional, and data requirements for onboarding new sources into Actimize platforms.
- Perform source-to-target mapping, field-level analysis, and data profiling.
- Validate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and suitability for transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
- Support data reconciliation, investigate mapping discrepancies, and coordinate resolution of data quality issues.
- Document data requirements, mappings, validation rules, and integration dependencies.
7. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Defect Management
- Develop UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with business requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Execute and coordinate testing for OOTB and custom rules, model tuning changes, historical lookback results, vendor feed integrations, and new data source onboarding.
- Validate positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios across end-to-end business workflows.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, regression testing, defect triage, retesting, and release validation.
- Maintain test evidence, track test coverage, document defects, and coordinate resolution with business and technology teams.
- Obtain formal business sign-off and support production readiness assessments.
8. Stakeholder, Vendor and Regulatory Coordination
- Coordinate with compliance officers, business users, technology teams, data teams, external vendors, and validation stakeholders.
- Communicate functional issues, testing progress, risks, dependencies, and remediation status.
- Ensure proposed changes align with applicable AML and sanctions requirements, internal policies, audit expectations, and organizational risk appetite.
- Maintain clear documentation to support governance, auditability, regulatory reviews, and operational readiness.
