Role Description

  • Managing purchasing & logistics operations, Purchase Order Delivery Control
  • Ensure the material availability/ alignment, communication and planning in cooperation with Production and SCM, Business Planning Department
  • Contract management, negotiation with suppliers
  • Proper planning of departmental expenses
  • Team and people management, team activity reporting

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven team management experience
  • Several years of purchasing experience in a serial (volume) production environment - domestic and international purchasing, including supplier negotiation and supply risk management (capacity, bottlenecks, cost impact)
  • Experience in project and financial management with a strategic planning mindset
  • Logistics experience welcomed
  • Experience in a Japanese-owned manufacturing company is a strong advantage
  • Personal traits: integrity, reliability, fairness, resilience
  • Open to applicants of all genders.
