About the Role:
The Delivery team at ParallelDots focuses on ensuring successful and seamless implementations of our products for customers globally. We work on a wide variety of complex and challenging projects to ensure that our solutions meet customer needs and achieve their business goals. Project Managers at ParallelDots take ownership of customer engagements, communicate proactively, and provide an exceptional customer experience at every step. They are leaders who take initiative in driving project success, resolving challenges, and improving processes and delivery efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Program Managers, Customer Success Managers, Associate Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Associate Project Coordinators to execute multiple projects concurrently for customers.
- Understand business objectives, define project scope, and create project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on all aspects of the project, including project health, progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify deviations from the project plan and take timely corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
- Regularly lead internal and customer-facing meetings to maintain project momentum and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies. Develop mitigation plans and drive them through closure.
- Manage project governance structures and ensure adherence to project management best practices and delivery standards.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across functions and geographies to execute project activities seamlessly.
- Manage projects involving enterprise customers across multiple countries or regions and coordinate with distributed delivery teams.
- Understand complex technical issues, work with relevant technical teams to develop resolution plans, and track issues through closure.
- Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify gaps in processes and implement best practices to improve project delivery efficiency.
- Document lessons learned and stakeholder feedback and incorporate these learnings into future projects.
- Ensure projects deliver measurable business outcomes and meet agreed customer objectives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with significant experience in client-facing delivery roles.
- Experience working with Enterprise SaaS, IT Services, technology, or consulting organizations, preferably serving large enterprise or Fortune 500 customers.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, managing customer stakeholders and delivery expectations.
- Experience managing complex enterprise projects from planning through successful delivery.
- Experience managing multi-country or multi-region project rollouts, preferably involving customers or stakeholders in North America and/or Europe.
- Experience working with distributed teams, including coordination between India-based delivery teams and customers or stakeholders in Western markets.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience delivering projects involving AI/ML, Image Recognition, Data Analytics, or other technically complex/analytics-driven solutions.
- Strong experience managing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Experience with Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, or RFPs is required.
- Proven ability to deliver projects using either Waterfall or Agile project management methodologies.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing customer demands.
- Ability to focus on priorities and consistently achieve agreed project goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes, with a track record of successfully delivering projects and measurable customer or business outcomes.
- A Project Management certification such as PMP, CAPM, ITIL, or CSM is desirable.
- Passion for solving problems by understanding customer needs, with a strong growth and learning mindset.
